Juxtaposition’s 2015 Fall Auditions

August 31, 2015 @ 8:00 pm

The fall semester is coming and it’s time for Juxtaposition’s fall auditions! If you’re a guy or know a guy who loves to sing, we’d love for you to come audition! This past year, we lost a handful of some of the best singers we’ve ever had, so we are on the lookout for more new, talented, and unique voices that can help us keep doing what we do best!

**IMPORTANT**
Come prepared to sing a verse and chorus of a song that you feel showcases your talent and represents your musicality as a singer!

The nights of Auditions are Monday the 31st in Squires and Tuesday the 1st in Squires Mountain Lake Conference Room – Callbacks will be held on the 3rd.

**INFORMATION**
We are completely student-led and perform weekly around campus and the greater Blacksburg area. Traveling to colleges all along the east coast we enjoy performing our wide repertoire of 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and current hits. However, our favorite gigs are those that occur on campus for our fellow Hokies. We also hold two major concerts- one in the Fall and one in the Spring.

In case you didn’t know, Juxtaposition is Virginia Tech’s earliest All-Male A Cappella group, established in 1994 and has since produced nine albums, including our most recent, The Juxta EP, where our arrangement of “The City” by Madeon earned us a spot on the BOCA 2015 Album. On the same album, our arrangement of “Pompeii” by Bastille was a huge success, being place on the Best of BOCA: The First 20 Years, BOCA 2014, and Voices Only 2014 Compilation CDs.
